Thank you so much for considering purchasing Joyful Hearts Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats! We look forward to serving you. =)
Our Nigerian Dwarf does & bucks are normally priced from $400.00 to $750.00. Pet quality kids will be $250-$350.00. Kid prices
are determined by pedigree, conformation, show records, milking stars as well as LA scores and DHI records, kidding history and
AGS classification scores ~ which include that of the dam, sire, and other close relatives. Wethers are $100-$150.00 depending on
color and conformation. We spend as much time as possible properly socializing all babies starting at birth so that our kids will have
friendly dispositions. Please read our Testimonial Page.
We offer a $25 refund to anyone who purchases a doe from us and goes on to earn a * which is payable with a copy of your
Notification of earning a Dairy Star. We also give a 10% discount for FFA/4-H kids. Proof is required. Please note:

If you would like to reserve a baby from our Kidding Schedule, please let us know and
you will be notified as soon as babies become available. We require a $100.00 Non-Refundable deposit for buck kids or doe kids,

When considering to purchase an animal from us, please consider how you will get it home. Transporting the animal is up to the
Buyer. We would be happy to help make arrangements, but ultimately it's up to you how it should be done.
Once a commitment is made to buy an animal, we ask for half the purchase price as a non-refundable deposit, payable within 5
business days. The kid(s) will be held until 4-6 weeks of age. Adults must be picked up within 2 weeks and paid in full in the same
time frame, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon by seller while payments and shipping arrangements (if applicable) are
worked out, with shipping costs, (ie. health certificate, testing), the responsibility of out of state buyers. The full purchase price
must be paid, and purchased animal picked up from our farm within TWO WEEKS or we will consider the sales contract cancelled and
make the goat available to other buyers. If animal(s) are not picked up at the agreed upon date, a $5.00 per day boarding charge
will be added to your final bill ~ for up to two weeks. If the animal is not paid for in full and claimed within two weeks, the animal
(s) will be offered for sale to others, and you will forfeit your payments. We have too many people take advantage of us and leave
their animals for longer than agreed upon. We simply do NOT have the means to board animals here! No exceptions.
Due to issues surrounding maintaining the biosecurity status of our farm, we may not be able to accept an animal back. However,
we do request that our customers please contact us first for the opportunity to repurchase any breeding stock that we have sold.
In the event we cannot purchase an animal back, we will do our best to help you rehome the goat. Thank you for your
understanding.
No animal will leave our possession until the full terms of the contract have been met. We reserve the right to refuse a sale for
any reason, at any time, on any animal. This can be done up until the time the Bill of Sale/Transfer is signed. If we cancel a sale,
deposits paid will be refunded. Joyful Hearts reserves the right to retain any reserved animal for any reason. If this is done,
payments will be returned. If a Buyer backs out of the sale, Deposits are not refundable.
Breeder reserves the right to retain any kids born. If we choose to retain a reserved animal your payment will be refunded to
you, or can be applied towards a different animal, or future breeding. All animals are sold on "breeders terms" meaning we may
ask for
stud service back, first right of refusal etc., on individual animals.
If a doe is bred on our farm before being sold her kids will carry the Joyful Hearts herd name. When a doe is sold as being
*exposed to a buck* (hand bred) we offer no further guarantee as to the does successful gestation or successful kidding once doe
leaves our farm. If pregnancy has already been confirmed by an ultrasound or blood test, that will be clearly stated in the Sales
Agreement. Breeder reserves the right to issue a "Doe-Only" service memo at our discretion on any bred animal sold. We abide by
the rules set forth by the American Dairy Goat Association, with a doe being sold as "A bred doe" as defined under Section XIX,
Recommended Trade Practices For Members, Subsection E, as written in the ADGA Guidebook At the time of purchase, Buyer will sign a statement that no bucks from the breeding will
be registered unless agreed upon after dam and buck kid(s) are assessed to be of the quality worthy of adding those genetics to the
Nigerian Dwarf gene pool. The signed statement will be attached to an official ADGA Bill of Sale, copies of which will be provided
to ADGA to ensure the following of proper procedure by all parties. Alternatively, bred does will be given AGS Doe Only Service
Memo's. Upon those kids' birth, Buyer will notify Seller/Breeder. Contingent upon the offspring meeting the necessary criteria for
registry with ADGA and/or AGS and the criteria Breeder/Seller deems necessary to act as breeding stock, Breeder/Seller will provide
the appropriate paperwork to register said kid(s) at no additional expense to Buyer.
We are not responsible for any stress related illnesses during shipment or after. You trust us to provide/ship you with a healthy
baby and we trust that you will care for him/her properly at your facility and seek immediate medical care if it should show any
signs of shipping stress. We suggest you do your research and have everything prepared ahead of time for your new goat(s) to make
the transition as smooth as possible.
All does and bucks 1 yr. of age and over have tested Neg. for CAE & CL (WADDL). Additionally, some of our adult stock have been
tested for Johnes, Tb, and Brucellosis ~ all Negative. If you desire any additional testing, or need a health certificate for traveling
purposes, the cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Animals under 6 months of age do not require any testing to cross state lines
(except to Hawaii). To find out what your state requires visit USDA APHIS Veterinary
Services web site.
All animals sold out of state will be accompanied by a CVI (Certificate of Veterinary Inspection) issued by our vet. Fees for a CVI
at the time of this writing are $45.00. We will ship your kid(s) from Ontario Airport, California to anywhere in the USA. We
prefer to ship animals under 6 months of age, with ground transport on older animals, but are willing to work with you. We charge
a $25.00 transport fee to Ontario Airport at the time of this writing. If gas prices change, the fee may increase again, with a
maximum charge of $50.00 round trip. If we have to ship out of LAX, the fee is $50.00. It is the buyers responsibility to provide
an airline approved shipping crate and have it shipped to us. We will let you know what size you will need. Two babies can fly
together in the same crate (just weaned or bottle babies) for the same shipping costs as long as the combined weight (kids and
crate) are under 70 lbs. Save $$ and reserve two babies! We will try to help with local transportation when we can within a
reasonable distance for a gas and meal donation.
